Summary: The Freight Manager is responsible for effectively managing all operations within the Freight department. Summary: The Freight Manager is responsible for effectively managing all operations within the Freight department. This includes order management, customer service, payload efficiencies, equipment maintenance and driver management. Monitors/manages fleet optimization and daily shipping goals via various reports such as speed gauge, log compliance, DOT stop/citation, out of route miles, headcount, driver utilization, payload efficiency, total lbs. shipped, past dues, returns, interplant deliveries, miles per gallon and OTIFNE (on time in full no errors).
