The Yard Manager supervises and directs the work activities of all Yard personnel involved in the shipping, receiving and handling of product. This position provides leadership and direction in loading and unloading techniques, receiving procedures, yard organization, inventory handling and control, yard vehicle maintenance and the promotion of a safe working environment. A Yard Manager generally supervises a department of up to 15 Yard Loaders. The Yard Manager is involved with all plant personnel including hiring, employee development, terminations and disciplinary actions.  This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. A Yard Loader is responsible for safely and accurately loading and unloading all deliveries made and received by ADS. A Yard Loader must demonstrate safe and proper vehicle operation at all times.  This position also interacts with company and non-company drivers as well as will-call customers and should display excellent customer service skills. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of safety, quality and production on his/her shift. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for the direct supervision and training of hourly employees on his/her shift. This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. The Material Handler’s primary function is to maintain raw material for each line and ensuring that the proper machines and parts they need are operating correctly. Another responsibility of a Material Handler is moving and packaging palletized loads to the yard.  . This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required.
