Responsibilities

We are looking for a Shipping Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you will oversee shipping activities, ensure quality standards, and manage the shipping team. If you are passionate about logistics and team leadership, we would love to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee outgoing and incoming shipping activities to ensure quality standards.
  • Post weight and shipping charges to orders.
  • Compile a list of unfulfilled orders for future reference.
  • Direct the movement of finished goods to storage locations.
  • Inspect loading operations for compliance with shipping specifications.
  • Determine load limits for trucks and prioritize shipping methods.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliation.
  • Mediate between shipping units and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to top management.
  • Ensure stock availability to reduce shortages.
  • Participate in hiring and training new personnel.
  • Supervise employees across multiple shifts and locations.
  • Support process simplification and standardization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; higher degree (BS/BA) is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a shipping management or supervisory role.
  • Previous forklift experience (beneficial).
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures.

  • Good organizational and coordinating abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
