Responsibilities

Lead the Next Phase of Growth for Our Allied Businesses

 

Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead supply planning, inventory strategy, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for our growing Allied businesses. This is a newly created leadership position reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, Allied, created to strengthen planning capabilities, improve operational performance, and support increasing demand across the business. This role will play a critical part in aligning customer demand, supply, inventory, manufacturing capacity, and business priorities while building scalable processes for future growth. As a key member of the supply chain leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence decision-making, drive cross-functional alignment, and help shape the future of supply chain planning for a rapidly growing business.

What You'll Do

  • Lead supply planning, inventory strategy, and S&OP for the Allied businesses.
  • Develop integrated supply and inventory plans that align demand with manufacturing and logistics capabilities.
  • Ensure planning decisions translate into executable actions across the manufacturing and distribution network.
  • Own and continuously improve the monthly S&OP process, including demand and supply reconciliation, inventory and capacity reviews, risk assessment, and executive decision support.
  • Optimize inventory, service levels, cost performance, capacity utilization, and risk management.
  • Partner with Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Commercial, Finance, and Product Management teams to improve alignment and execution.
  • Identify and mitigate planning, inventory, service, and operational risks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and build scalable planning capabilities.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing planning team.

What You'll Bring

 

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, operations, or related disciplines
  • Experience leading S&OP and cross-functional planning processes
  • Proven success optimizing inventory and service performance
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams

Preferred

  • Manufacturing and distribution experience
  • APICS / ASCM certification
  • Experience supporting business transformation or process improvement initiatives
