This position will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key learning and development initiatives across the manufacturing organization. The role involves managing multiple L&D projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The regional production trainer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive the successful implementation of learning programs that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilies:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for L&D initiatives. Track and manage project progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, HR, and department heads to ensure alignment of L&D projects with business needs and goals.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality program delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, trainers, and consultants to ensure that third-party programs are delivered effectively and meet company standards.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Address and resolve issues as they arise during project execution.
  • Training Program Implementation: Support the deployment and rollout of training programs across different business units, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption by employees.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for managing L&D projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, milestones achieved, and outcomes.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed project documentation, including scope, goals, deliverables, and training outcomes. Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements for training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in Learning and Development or HR.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with budget management and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and project adjustments.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theories.

Salary Range:

$80,000-$110,000
