Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide engineering-level technical support for our data center server infrastructure—both on-premises and Azure-based. You’ll play a key role in designing resilient systems, managing cloud costs, and driving strategic infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and implement scalable technical solutions within Azure.
  • Install, configure, and support Windows servers and enterprise software.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including architecture diagrams, CMDB entries, and knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and availability issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and managed service providers to optimize server and VMware environments.
  • Lead efforts to enforce configuration standards and resiliency best practices.
  • Support strategic initiatives including M&A activities, facility design, and infrastructure decommissioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience managing Azure financial costs and budgeting.
  • Microsoft certifications preferred:
    • Azure DevOps Engineer
    • Azure Solutions Architect

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects with competing deadlines.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across technical and business teams.
  • Familiarity with resiliency methodologies and technologies.
  • Experience with MS Exchange, ServiceNow, VMware, or other hypervisors.
