Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Mechanical Aptitude

  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment.

Communication Skills

  • Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written.

Teamwork & Independence

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-driven environment.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness and availability to travel extensively — up to 75% of the time — depending on project and business needs.

Heavy Equipment Operation Experience

  • Experience operating heavy equipment, including:

    • Skid steers

    • Telescoping material handlers

    • Conveyors

    • Trailers

    • Power tools and maintenance equipment

Driver’s License

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.


Travel Schedule & Benefits

Travel Rotation

  • Travel-based position following a structured rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off.

Travel Coverage

  • All travel expenses are fully covered by Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS), including:

    • Transportation

    • Lodging

    • Approved per diem

Flexibility Required

  • Candidates must be comfortable being away from home for extended periods and able to adapt to diverse job sites and conditions.
