A Yard Administrator is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting changes to inventory.
Key responsibilities of the Yard Administrator:
• Maintain accurate inventory of consumable items with replenishment schedules.
• Back-up Office Administrator or fill in at front desk when needed
• Print/Confirm Pick lists for Customer Pick-ups
• Monitor shipping output for quality and accuracy
• Manage the movement of inbound material
• Manage the RMA process from the point of receiving a return
• Perform Oracle functions as inventory transfers/putaway/scrap not ground
• Work with ISC on inbound T03/IP’s/CC’s
• Assist Yard with daily Cycle Counts
• Perform LTL/UPS/FedEx inbound and outbound deliveries
• Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES
Job Skills:

Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Experience:
• Previous inventory, shipping, and receiving experience in high paced manufacturing
• Previous warehouse experience and customer service experience
Physical Requirements:
• The employee will lift and move heavy items, which will require the ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds to a height of 6 feet
• The employee will be working specified shifts and moving around at all times, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8-12 continuous hours
• Facilities can be extremely hot or cold at times, so the employee must have
• the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes
• The employee will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
• The Position requires full range of body motion on a daily basis including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles
