Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for establishing relationships with owners, developers (residential and commercial), large general contractors and design/build firms within specified territory.  The goal is to “connect the dots” at a high level and position the team to win locally.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with target entities listed above
  • Identify and assist w/cascading contractor and engineer relationships
  • Project identification early in cycle to ensure upfront designs/specifications
  • Develop project specific business proposals/strategies to ensure win
  • Quantify success - ensure applicable projects are captured in Salesforce and profiles created
    • Accurate data
    • Material to assist w/closing future projects and promote to targets
  • Rebate offerings and procurement assistance
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate w/field – learn from each other’s successes and replicate

Reporting Structure
